We are pleased and excited to announce that Eva Marcotrigiano has joined the firm as an associate. Marcotrigiano’s practice will focus on complex construction and environmental litigation.
Eva Marcotrigiano brings nearly a decade of civil litigation experience in Oregon. For other Portland-area law firms, she has handled
high-profile construction defect and construction-related product liability litigation in state and federal court, and has defended physicians and
lawyers facing malpractice claims throughout the state. Marcotrigiano also worked as staff counsel for a large U.S. insurance company, managing numerous
construction defect, construction liability and personal injury cases. As first-chair defense counsel, she obtained a zero-dollar defense verdict for
an industry-leading construction company in a contentious construction liability jury trial relating to a public infrastructure project in Washington
County.
An accomplished writer, Marcotrigiano covered securities law as a legal journalist for Thomson Reuters/Westlaw, and she has authored various articles for
the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and the Multnomah Bar Association. She was honored by the Clackamas County Trial Court Administrator’s Office
for re-writing the Clackamas Lawyers’ Survival Guide and the Clackamas Judicial Clerk Manual during her judicial clerkship with former
Clackamas County Circuit Court Presiding Judge Steven L. Maurer.
While earning her J.D. with an environmental law concentration from University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Marcotrigiano served on the Pittsburgh Tax Review and on the Environmental Law Council. She received her B.S. in applied economics and management from Cornell University, where she was singled out
for her exceptional work ethic with the Cornell Tradition Employee Recognition Award.
