Shaun’s practice focuses on complex litigation, including defending clients in product liability, toxic tort, and environmental claims. Shaun has participated in significant motions practice in both state and federal courts. She has successfully obtained summary judgment for several clients. She has also conducted and defended countless depositions.
In 2015, Shaun successfully argued before the Washington Court of Appeals that Washington’s wrongful death statute did not permit a personal representative to revive an expired claim for asbestos liability.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Shaun prosecuted state-level criminal offenses at the Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, Missouri. Shaun tried over 30 bench trials and 8 jury trials to verdict. In 2012, Shaun argued the constitutionality of the Missouri harassment statute before the Missouri Supreme Court.
